  I went here last month on 9/30/15. at that time their website had payout for up to 1-3 ozs of 14k gold at $597.00 an ounce divided by 28 equaled $21.30 a gram. Well i went in that rainy morning and gold was at $116.00 an oz market value for 24k. i went in with under an oz. 22.4 grams to be precise. After the buyer testing the bigger pieces and weighing it i was offered $418.00 total!! that equals @ $18,60 a gram??!! when i asked why it was nearly less then $3.00 per gram for the site quoted price he stated that because it was less then 3 ounces. i believe he just added the bigger tested pieces and left out the smaller scraps in the sale weight (@2 grams missing) as he did not even bother to test the smaller scraps. Note that i have sold gold here @4 times in the past couple of years, on up to several ounces and have been treated fairly until now. o well, i did not want to price check anywhere else because it was rainy out and i just wanted to sell this small amount, but at a fair market price. i should stay with Midtown Gold Buyers whom have quoted a buy price of $465.00 cash..

  I met up with my friends in the city and we brought our old high school rings to sell. Theyre our first stop before we went to several shops in the Jewelry District to get price quotes...stay away from the street hawkers/peddlers (don't trust them)...they had the highest quote, every other gold buyer seemed to be low balling us...we finally settled on them and got back a couple hundred dollars more than the shops on the streets and several hundred more than local pawn shops in NJ...in fact, STAY AWAY from pawn shops & jewelry stores...US GOLD BUYERS are a refinery (didn't know that) so we got lucky!! And they also gave money for some of the gemstones in our rings!! Theyre the frggn best!!

  I just want to write that US Gold Buyers gave me the best and most honest amount for my gold coins. After calling in and getting a quote, I went around 47th street to check out other offers. I went to US Gold Buyers after five other places right on the same street and still got more than the highest offer. Man in the window, don't remember his name, was so pleasant and I got better service. I appreciate the 98% I got on my coins that day. I will be back to sell more!
